The Corner Pub
Gay-owned neighborhood dive since 2010 — pool tables, jukebox, charity cookouts, zero pretense.
The Corner Pub calls itself Wilton Manors’ only true neighborhood gay bar, and the claim holds up: gay-owned since 2010, off the Drive on N Andrews Ave, with pool tables, a jukebox, and a charity calendar (the ‘Bring Da Meat’ cookout among them) instead of a light rig. This is the locals’ room — the bar where the strip’s bartenders drink on their night off.
Dive is a compliment here. Prices behave, the pool tables are the entertainment, and conversation is the program. It’s also quietly one of the friendliest walk-in-alone rooms in town; neighborhood bars survive fifteen years by being good at exactly that.
At 1915 N Andrews Ave it’s a few minutes’ ride from the strip — far enough to filter for intent, close enough to rejoin tonight’s list when the jukebox runs dry. Details at thecornerpubfl.com.
