DrYnk is the Drive’s cocktail-first counterpoint to the dance floors: a moody lounge of velvet wallpaper, low light, and smoked old fashioneds, built for conversation you can actually hear. While the rest of the strip competes on volume, DrYnk competes on what’s in the glass — and it wins that category most nights.

The rhythm of the room follows the day. Doors open at 2pm (1pm on Sundays), and the long afternoon stretch belongs to locals working through one of the most generous happy hours on the Drive — 2 to 8pm Monday through Saturday, and nearly all day Sunday. That’s the DrYnk sweet spot: a proper cocktail on a bar stool while the strip outside is still deciding what to wear. Come 10pm the lounge tightens up, the music rises just enough, and it becomes the classiest pre-game in Wilton Manors.

It stays open late — 2am most nights, 3am Fridays and Saturdays — but late night isn’t really the point. The move locals swear by: start your evening here with something smoked or stirred, then walk two minutes to whatever is open on the Drive tonight. Your night will taste better for it.
