Gym Sportsbar
One of America's most fun and friendly gay sports bars — game days, jockstrap nights, and a loyal local crowd.
Gym Sportsbar brings the gay sports bar formula to Wilton Drive and executes it better than almost anyone: big screens for game days, cold beer, cheap buckets, and a crowd that’s equal parts jerseys and tank tops. It has a national reputation as one of America’s friendliest gay sports bars — the kind of room you can walk into alone and leave with a group chat.
The programming writes itself: game days when there’s a game, jockstrap nights when there isn’t, and a loyal local crowd holding down the bar either way. Nobody cares whether you actually follow the sport. Half the room is watching the screen, half is watching the room, and both halves are having a great time.
Hours are built for the long haul — 11am to midnight Sunday through Thursday, 1am on Friday and Saturday. That 11am open makes Gym one of the few places on the Drive where a Sunday afternoon beer is a fully sanctioned activity, especially during football season when the room fills early.
You’ll find it at 2287 Wilton Dr, in the thick of the strip — the Alibi is a one-minute walk south when you want drag with your draft picks, and the rest of tonight’s options are all within two blocks. Come for the game, stay because somebody just bought your next round.
Hours and details change — check with the venue before you go.
